The York IWLA welcomed 43 competitors to it's September IPSC match. Held under ideal weather conditions, the 4 stage match went off without a hitch. A special thanks is given to the many match workers who assisted in this well run match.

Stage one,Clean up the House, was a 20 round field course set up on the House pit. The hallway alloweed competitors to swing to paper targets on either side of the hall. Close targets led to quick runs as Gerry Trader topped open with an 11 second run. Tony Chiavacci wasn't far behind topping limited with a run just over 12 seconds.

Stage two got the blood moving as Barrel Run was a quick 14 round stage. Paper and steel targets were engaged from a free fire zone. The bounds of the zone were littered with barrels and skids requiring sharp indexing and a careful game plan. Adam Benson was high open on Barrel Run with an 8.7 hit factor and John Hutchinson was high limited at 6.4.

Stage three got us into manditory reload mode as Reloads-R-Us requires two. Three widely spaced arrays of three paper targets were engaged with a manditory reload between each. Smooth reloads and precise indexing resulted in some fast runs as Gerry Trader won his second stage and 90 more match point in open. Bill Moore got into the stage win catagory with a win on Reloads-R-Us.

Classifier, Nuevo El Prez was or final stage and second with a required reload. Three targets with either hardcover or No-shoot coverage were engaged from 10 yards. After the reload the targets were reengaged with 2 roung each. Gerry Trader came through with another stage win with his 5.9 second run. Howard Thompson made sure the Standard match would be close with a stage with and a 7 second run.

Winning 3 of 4 stages gave Gerry Trader the open match win by 10 match points. Tony Chiavacci won the Standard match by 33 match points. Other winners were Adan Benson - 1A, Chris Groller - 1B, Lorie Benson - 1C, Cliff Seawagon - 1U, Howard Thompson - 1BL, Valentino Dimattina - 1CL, Carl Boldt - 1DL, Kyle Fauth - 1UL, Jeanie Grant - 1 Lady. Congratulations to all match and class winners.

The October Iwla IPSC match will be held on Saturday October 9th. We will be havig a Rifle side match, consisting of a field course with 24 rounds. Call Greg 717-428-2564 not sooner than 1 week before the match for slots.
